My daughter just got her new copy of Renaissance magazine (Vol. 13 #1 issue #59 $5.95US/Can) and it's got quite a lot of Scottish things in it.

An article on "Haunted Scotland"

"Medieval Tapestry Recreated at Stirling Castle" - these are the ones acquired by King James V of Scotland and are on display at The Cloisters in New York

"Wearing the Belted Plaid"

A quiz on "Scottish Food: Beyond McDonald's"

"An Interview with Roy Gullane of theTannahill Weavers"

A take off of "Scottish Cinema Classics" - pictures from such movies as "Fasttimes at Ridgemont Highlands", Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Plaid, and the Ugly", "Natural Born Kilters", "The Adventures of William Wallace and Grommit".

Check it out at your local book store. Right up our alley.

Thanks for the heads up. I've looked at that magazine before but never bought one. Maybe its time to get around to it. A couple of those articles sound very appealing.
