For all Xmarkers in Germany and central Europe,

I went on the web and found the Bagpipe Association of Germany (BAG) and followed their links to some of the Highland Games where their member bands will be competing this summer.

Here is what I have found so far.

8-9 March Karlruhe (I can't go this year, never been)

2-4 May, Piene (south of Hannover, went last year, plan on going this year)

17 May, Hunsruech/Sohren (Near Frankfurt, never been)

14-15 June Hamm (not sure of location, never been)

13-15 June, Xanten (also not sure of location, never been)

4-6 July Halle (south of Berlin quite a ways, never been)

5-6 July Eichtersheim/Angelbachtal (not to far from Heidelberg, south and east, went last year, plan on going again)

20-21 Sept Machern (east of Leipzig, went last year, plan on going again)

I know there are others on the Continent, can anyone else post dates?
