wife's new USA Kilts ladies kilt

I am a truly lucky guy. I've read the stories on here about how so many of you have significant others who don't like your kilt wearing. Not only does my wife support mine, she wants to join in.

My wife and I attend a lot of Celtic festivals and concerts. I wasn't aware of it, but my wife had been looking for something appropriate to wear to go along with my kilt wearing. Last fall, at the Celtic Classic, she had Kelly at USA Kilts measure her up for one of their ladies kilts in Black Watch.

Last weekend, she wore it for her first kilted outing to the Philly Mid-Winter Scottish & Irish Music Festival. I must say, I like it A LOT.

I had Kelly take a picture of the two of us in front of the USA Kilts booth.

Way to go, Jim! I too am so happy that my wife shares (she being Irish anyways) in my love for the kilt enough to get her own made as well. It's great when couples share in their passions (hey...it's more than a fashion statement, that's for sure!)!

eventually I'll get Yeti to make me a kilt, I'm far too lazy to follow directions, I'm more of a throw it on the dressform and sew it kinda person. He even measures, it's a wee bit scary.

That's men for you. My wife throws things in a pan, while I measure out. That said, her cooking is v good.

Look forward to seeing the end result. What tartan have you chosen, if any?

BTW I like your new avatar - kinda classy.
