I don't see myself in the video but Pour1Malt and myself are both in picture #3 on the photo gallery.
Edited to add - yes I spotted myself on the video second time I played it - two very brief glimpses - in which I am wearing a blue fleece top with a black kilt.

Perhaps a bit of photoshop?
The guy on extreme left in photo 3 sure looks like Pour1Malt, yet Pour1Malt was wearing a purple kilt and purple hose at last year's event, and I think 2007 is the only time he has taken part.
Also, although I appear in photos 3, 7, 8 and 10, I can tell from the clothes I was wearing and the people I was walking with, that these must have been taken at the 2006 event and not last year's event.

It has always previously been held at the beginning of April, but this year they have moved it back to August so it will take place during Edinburgh Festival.

Just giving this a bump as it is only nine days away.
Anyone else going?
It is the same day as Melrose Pipe Band Competition.
I will pass within a couple of miles of Melrose on my way to and from Edinburgh, and Melrose is within an hour of Edinburgh, so I am planning to get a quick get away from Edinburgh after the Kilt Walk and take in the last couple of hours of the Pipe Band Competition. There are over forty bands taking part, with competitions in grades 2, 3 and 4 and Novice, and also a Highland Dancing Competition.

Bump.
I'm having an early night tonight, need to travel to Edinburgh in the morning to do the Kilt Walk and raise money for The Rock Trust, a charity for Edinburgh's young homeless.
Planning on wearing my xmarksthescot tartan kilt.
Anybody else going?
