Kilted in Central Maryland
Hey everyone. Found the site this morning while looking around for more kilts to feed my addiction.
I have been collecting and wearing kilts since '97. My first was a Black Stuart one-size-fits-a-couple.
From there my ex and I sewed a Black Watch fitted made from some flannel we found at the craft store. It was too narrow to do a great kilt, so the extra material we made a shoulder sash with (that has now been cut up and made into children's kilts for my kids.)
Then was my hand made Gunn kilt from Scotland. This being my first "real" kilt will always hold a special spot in my heart, even if my belly is too big for it.
From then I've moved into a Utilikilt and a black watch great kilt. Recently I picked up a polyviscous black watch and a green amerikilt.
Now I am looking for a Gunn tartan kilt that wears under the belly (where pants would.) I'm leaning to a Sport Kilt, but didn't realize there were so many other new style kilt makers out there.
Glad to be on board and looking forward to being part of the kilted community here.

Nope, sorry, wasn't me. Except for a short trip into West Virginia Saturday, I was in Frederick the whole weekend.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
