More Pics Macd of the Isles Weathered Hunting

Never could find pics of this tartan in a finished kilt before I ordered it up. Went on faith, trust, guts. Pleased how it came out. Was hiking in it today and shot a few more pics. At least anyone else interested in the tartan can see it in a kilt now.

Was very windy today, lots of sand blowing in the wind. Don't know if I got sunburned, windburned, or both.

Kilt is 16 ounce Strome from Lochcarron mills sewn up by Kathy Lare. sporran is Stillwater Kilts black leather nightstalker.

Well, obviously my mind got fried in the sun...here's the correct third pic.

And the tartan name is Macdonald of the Isles weathered hunting.

A great tartan it is, Ron.

I ordered my weathered Henderson kilt, having never seen it in kilt form either. I knew I loved the tartan, and would be please. And pleased I am. I relate.

Well I see the kilt, and I've got dibs on it if Ron outgrows this one, too!

Wow, nice. I ordered my Irish Co. Longford kilt without ever having seen more than an online swatch, and all the colours were different. But I like it more each time I wear it (which is a lot!). I like the subtle tones of this MacDonald tartan.

    Andrew.
