    Indigo Bonnet

Here's my new indigo bonnet knitted by Diane of Russet Lodge Custom Knits.

I wear this thing everywhere . . . not just with my kilts. I think the blue bonnet is like blue jeans - it goes with everything. I mean, what color shirt doesn't go with blue jeans? My wife thinks it should color-coordinate with my kilt or other garment. Hmmm . . . any opinions?

The photo shown here is a link to the photo I uploaded to the Kilt Photo Gallery. When I'm logged on, I only see one album. Does anybody else have an album?

They've changed the album feature, so I removed the original answer I gave to the question.

It looks very nice, and it also looks exceptionally comfortable.

Now I'm jonesing for the kilt hose she's making me even more!

Diane will make 'em in any color you want! Here's the earthy brown one she knitted for me (as modelled by my 16 year old):

Regarding the blue bonnet: that was the most common - even famous - color of Scots bonnet from the early 1600's and well into the 1800's, and was worn with all tartans regardless of "color coordination"...!
