Took the plunge...
Ok, maybe it's more like 'wading in' rather than a 'plunge' but I just bought my first kilt... A Blackwatch from Stillwaters... cheap, because I'm not 100% sure what I'm getting myself into and I'm not ready for a big commitment for an everyday kilt.
*gulp*

You want to know what you're in for? An addiction... That's what you're in for. Once you realize that you can wear something as comfortable as a bath towel in public, you won't want to ever wear anything else!

That's how I describe it to people who ask me why I'm wearing a kilt. Yeah, it's that comfortable.

I agree. I claim that the kilt is better than pants...my US Hist. teacher agreed with me since he is a Scotsman.

If Cincinatti is too conservative, you could always spend your kilted nights in Covington.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
