    You mean Bruce Springsteen. Mind you I prefer Manfred Mann's version much better.

    I heard Bruce do a acoustic version once. Thats the one for me, tho I don't think he ever recorded that version.

    But what the heck does it mean? Even with the lyrics written out, the song is still unintelligible. But thanks for the memory, anyway. This evokes days at the beach with Cousin Brucie on the portable radio tuned to WABC.
