    Jewish Tartan

I know from time to time there have been threads on here asking if there was a particular tartan for Jewish people. Well, that question has finally been answered. Got a notice about this in my email recently:

And the mitsprocha will never let me hear the end of it if it doesn't go right to the top of the list!!!

There is a Scottish name MacAbee. It's a derivative of MacPhie/MacFee.

A kilt in this new tartan would be a heck of a bar mitzvah present, I can tell you that. It's pretty good looking.

About how long does it take before a newly registered (with the STA) tartan shows up in the Tartan Ferret?
