    Ramada Inn Commercial

I think it was a Ramada Inn Commercial.. It had a red tartan kilt prominently featured! The background tune was something like, Express Yourself..

    Was I dreaming??

Was just watching this, normally I don't see commercials since I have TiVo but was doing something else and didn't fast forward.

He is wearing a red kilt, hose and a normal suit jacket. Red flashes and it looks like ghilles, if they're not ghilles they're laced around his ankles like ghilles.

The theme of the commercial has to do with individuality & how Ramada helps that.

It looked like Royal Stewart tartan to me. I've only seen it once or twice, and was more taken aback by his lack of sporran.

Galician, I think the connection is simply an idea of "be who you want at a Ramada Inn" or some jibba-jabba-jive they created to sell rooms. (That's not meant to be as negative as it sounds).

It does look like Royal Stewart. I was groggy when I saw it, so that is about the only thing that stands out for me.

Thanks for that explanation, guys! From the sound of it, I think that the theme of that commercial fits perfectly with the spirit of kilting.
