    Cool That's some heavy denim!

My wife sometimes complains that my UK workman and denim kilts are like body armor that makes my butt unpinchable -- yeah I know

Anyway, I washed my Black Denim UK for the first time the other day, and hung it dry like usual. Well as you can see afterwards, the kilt decided that . . .

Wearers? It don't need no stinking wearers!

I am sure it will soften up one of these years, but in the meantime I am safe from garden variety mashers

    Best regards,

    Jake

P.S. Feel free to come up with your own captions.

That's exactly what I'm looking for in a kilt right now. Something that will not only stay down in the event of a tornado, but which I don't have to bother hanging either.

Now if they could weave denim into a tartan, I would buy one pronto.

Nah. The UK original, mocker, and survivor models are made of softer fabrics. Actually, Riverkilt has reported in the past that after it was broken-in his denim UK became one of his most comfortable kilts. Nowadays most blue jeans are pre-washed, so as to spare us the experience of pants that are stiff-as-a-board.

    Panache, DaveDove -Great comments guys.

    Best regards,

    Jake

    Well…
I was on the internet last night
    I saw nothing scary
For I have never been afraid.
    Of anything. Not very.

Then I was reading a thread on X Marks the Scot
    When suddenly I spied it
I saw a black denim kilt standing up
    With nobody inside it!

    I wasn’t scared. But, yet, I stopped.
What could that kilt be there for?
What could a black denim kilt on the forum
Be standing in the air for?

And then it moved! That empty kilt!
    It kind of started jumping
And then my heart, I must admit,
    It kind of started thumping.

So I got offline. I got out fast
As fast as I could go , sir
I wasn’t scared. But a kilt like that
I did not care for . No, sir.

    With apologies to Dr. Seuss

    Cheers

    Jamie
