SWK Thrifty on its way
Just pulled the trigger on a SWK Thrifty Leatherneck. Since I'm losing weight, I'm not going to spend any significant money on kilts until I reach my desired weight (long way to go but down 15lbs so far). So, I figure a couple X-kilts and a Thrifty here and there will help me keep my obsession suppressed for a little bit.

Congrats at the weight loss and the new kilt, just loss about 25lbs myself so I know the feeling. Been training for the games and just purchased a SWK thrifty in the Gordon modern . This will be my throwing kilt, but was so impressed with it for the price may pick up one or two more just because.

Congrats yourself on the 25lbs. It's been a long road so far, but the progress is slowly but surely showing. I've got about another 30 to go.

Yes deffinately slow going but worth it, started working out and watching what I eat in February. Would like to get down to about 220-225 with only 20% or less body fat. I started out at 264 with 34% body fat currently I am at 235 with about 25%

Enjoy your Thrifty when it arrives, and congratulations to everyone on their weight loss so far. My hubby and I have lost a lot of weight over the years and we both still have a little ways to go to our final goal. He's not wanting to buy too many more kilts until then (I might still talk him into at least one more SWK standard or even a Thrifty to wear around the house), so I definitely understand that. Hubby is also wanting to get into Highland Games as well, but he wants to drop a little more weight before he starts seriously training.
Best wishes to everyone and keep up the great work!
