    Hung ancestors

I came across this site that may be helpful in finding what became of some ancestors. Most are listings for England and Wales, but there are some executed for participating in the various uprisings. It's an interesting site.

    Oh my.
    Thanks I think...
    What a cheerful site.
History for those who like it. And for those who don't like it -- history!

The topic title made me think it might be about "The Question" there for a minute.

Quite an interesting site. I'm sure some of the law students where I work would be very interested as well.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Darn, I was about to make an entry, and then I realized none of my ancestors had been "well hanged".
