    Camo kilts with straps?

I've been looking for a camo kilt for sometime(Marpat woodland maybe). I'd like one that made from BDU material with straps-not snaps/velcro. I'm not having much luck.
I did find this site http://kargokilts.com/index.php?main...&products_id=3

    Anyone know of them?
    Anyone have suggestions?

    thanks
    Clan Lamont!

Check with Steve at Freedom Kilts. He's the only one I know of doing contemporary kilts with straps.

I've heard of them, but have yet to find a review. I was thinking they are fairly new.

Scotweb sells a camouflage kilt, but I don't know exactly what its made from.

I know freedom kilts, Rkilts and alt.kilt do custom work, and I would think any one of them ought to be able to give you what you want.

I just placed an order with Freedom Kilts yesterday for an ABU kilt (the new airforce combat uniform... i had to provide the fabric). I'll have a review when it comes in. The kilts pictured on his site look great and the Xmarkers who have his kilts seem satisfied.

These are offered in camo, and have some interesting details:

Here's my RKilt with straps and plastic side release buckles but was a complete custom job. Robert's new Mach 5 kilts appear to have leather straps. He offers canvas kilts in this style which should include camo. Also try Canadian Casual Kilts. Pete has some nice Mossy Oak kilts again with leather straps (I believe).

Our Dress Model is normally made with straps & Buckles. It can be done in any of our 35 stock fabrics.

If you want a different pleating style we have done some Cargo Models with Straps & Buckles and left off the buttons.

You can then choose how many pockets you want and have them placed almost anywhere you want.

And David...if you've never had a chance to see one of Steve's creations, now's your chance! His kilts are amazing feats of fabric engineering.
