No Longer Kiltless (Soon)
I lurked around here for awhile and finally joined about three weeks ago. If you read my newbie post, you'll know I'm kiltless. Many great welcoming posts (thanks) and valuable info from Ardchoille that has allowed me to purchase a kilt on the payment plan. But that wasn't enough. Today I ordered THREE kilts: Irish Saffron from SWK; Forest Green canvas from Buzz Kidder and Irish National 8 yard 13 oz from Scotland Yard. Wow, this IS an addiction. I've got my next one picked out, when I get the bucks together--a Carolina Tartan from Matt. If anyone has any of these kilts, I'd like to hear your opinion of my choices. "Nearly Kilted"!

Welcome to the addiction, there is no cure except more kilts.

Is your SWK saffron there yet? Jerry usually gets them to you an hour before you order them. Did you order the Standard or the Heavyweight Wool. I love my wool Saffron kilt.

I ordered the standard. I was a bit concerned because of the very low price. Hope it turns out ok.

LOL. you won't be disappointed with Jerry's product. He offers a great product for the price. Very well put together.
McFarkus was referring to Jerry's wormhole service he offers. Usually when you place an order with Jerry online, you get up, leave your computer, get a drink, maybe use the restroom, and the open your front door and it should be there.
Unlike some other kilt vendors, Jerry has stock on hand I believe. So you can't see any kilts on his site that he doesn't already have in stock. Once he gets your order it usually ships within 24 hours, and then arrives wherever you may be within 24-48 hours after that.

Well---as predicted, it arrived super fast. Called Monday, shipped Tuesday and arrived today. I'm no longer kiltless. I'm very happy with the quality for such a low cost. I am, however, sporran-less. It was ordered from a different source and I'm sure it will get here eventually. Now the problem--we have a festival this weekend (we do fudge and nuts at various festivals) and no sporran. Problem solved---I'll wear it without a sporran! Maybe not "proper" attire but..... I'll try for a pic or two this weekend. Check back on Monday.
