Sent a customer in your direction, Steve!`

I was talking to an old online acquaintance tonight, that I hadn't spoken to in a while, and offhand she mentioned that her boyfriend was of Scots descent. I asked if he had a kilt- she said no, but he was going to be purchasing a Galloway tartan kilt in the near future from a local kilt shop. Remembering that she lived in Vancouver, I immediately asked if she was going to Freedom Kilts. When she said no, I urged her to at least swing by and take a look at what Steve had to offer, and to mention that an X Marks The Scot member sent them.

She took a look at his website and immediately said "Wow, this guy takes kiltmaking seriously."

So with any luck her squeeze will soon be the proud wearer of a Freedom Kilt- and perhaps even an XMarker himself one day!

Certainly. She mentioned that her boyfriend was a "headfirst, spend the money on the best" kind of guy, but I cautioned that perhaps spending a couple grand on the full imported outfit was in this instance not the best choice for a first kilt purchase. And since she was going local, I figured I'd give the website and one of its sponsors their proper plugging. *laugh*
