    So there I was

racing to a meeting that I wouldn't be late. I walk pretty fast so my UK mocker was flying pretty good to begin with. I wasn't quite paying attention to how windy it was. I turned the corner of the building and lo and behold I did my best Marilyn Monroe impersonation. Good thing I don't go regimental. The look on the face of the guy walking past me was priceless.

And that's all I have to say. I can only imagine...

Been there, done that, regimental....in front of restaurant windows...guess some folks may still be talking about it when the subject of kilts comes up.

I have done things along those line- on purpose!! There is a whiskey bar here called Pints Pub. They have a cellar with all their alcohol in it. There are several places in the floor that are cut out and covered with lexan so you can see down into the cellar, and the wait staff in the cellar can see up into the bar. I have an more than one occasion just... stood... over those windows, doing my best Superman pose. More than one bonnie wee waitress has complimented my attire. (I only do that when I'm not regimental and am wearing something funny. Last time I did that was around the 4th of July. I had a pair of Sponge Bob boxers on. When asked what was on them, I told the girl that my butt says "Freedom is nt wearing pants." Best boxers EVER!!

It's windy here on the coast, and from time to time, I've have to scramble to get the aprons down. My wife always gets a laugh out of it (her girl friends just tend to smile.) I have accused her of setting me up for that sometimes, she just takes the fifth and smirks while I reach for a fifth and think on how to get even.
