    Grant Tartan Pleating

My next kilt is going to be a Grant tartan (from my mums side) 16oz kilt. I plan on getting it pleated to the stripe since I have been impressed with how pleating to the stripe makes the kilt look. I was wondering about which stripe would you suggest? And does anyone have photos of a Grant kilt's pleats in stripe?

    Thanks,
    MM

Light blue line. I've seen it done to stripe this way and it looks spectacular.

I nearly bought a Grant kilt for my wedding before finding out the Grant link to my surname is mostly imaginary. I've got a tie in that tartan and I've always liked it.

I concur - pleated to the blue line would present an interesting contrast to the sett.

I agree, pleating to the blue line would give a nice effect.
