Seaside Games Oct 11-12

Saturday was WINDY (clan tents blowing over left, right, and forward) but Sunday was just another terrible day in Paradise

We got on the road about 2 p.m. and arrived home in San Diego before dark. Here are a few pics of daytime stuff; separate thread for the kilt night.

He shoots! He scores! Alan getting an assist from two of the Clan Donnachaidh ladies in showing off his first-in-class certificate. Alan was last seen heading toward the Buzz Kidder stand to take advantage of his "winner's discount" -- hope you found what you were looking for!

It was good to put a few more faces to names. See you at the next Games!

That must've been the bar at 11 feet, 'cause I didn't clear 12...*GRRRR****...

but it was kind of fun to take no prisoners and win outright, for once. Usually I'm middle of the pack!

Sunday was MUCH nicer, wasn't it? It was great to meet you and Bob and Yaish and Yaish, flame haired Celtic goddess, of tattoo'd fame!

A grand time was had by all at Dargens Irish Pub and they didn't even throw us out. Great company and a wonderful night. Saturday was windy and cold but still a fun day while Sunday was just beautiful. A truly fun weekend and so nice to meet the x-markers. What a fine group of people they are. Hello to Alan, Andy, Mark, Mark, Greg, Randa, Josh and everyone else Sydnie and I got to meet. We can't wait til the next time.
