    Military pipers plaid

Can anyone please advise on the method of construction (length, number of pleats. fringes) of an accurate replica of a pipers plaid as worn by Scots Guards, Black Watch, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards etc

    Many thanks for any help/advice/ideas.
