    Legend of Loch Lomond

My wife ordered Legend of Loch Lomond from Netflix. This movie was originally shot in the IMAX format, and is based on the song Loch Lomond. Which tells the story of the Jacobite highlander and his lady love. The story moves back and forth between 18th century Scotland and present day. There are a few slow scenes, however, they are balanced by the beautiful scenic shots which are fantastic. While it is not a high powered Hollywood movie with big name stars, they do use a Scottish reenactor group thus assuring the period costumes are accurate. At only 58 minutes it is not very long, but worth viewing IMHO.

Thanks for the heads up I may check this out now. I have been to Loch Lomond a couple of times and really just love that area of Scotland.

I'll be right over to Netflix to get it on my list, let's see that's after Hogfather and Wyrd
Sisters, but not Made of Honor! We may need to set up a seperate place for movie reviews.

That sounds like an idea that has merit. Hey mods, what do you think?

On Netflix you can download this movie to the computer so I watched it last night. I had to pretend that my laptop was an IMAX screen, otherwise I enjoyed the movie mostly for its scenery, the story line was somewhat predictable, period costumes good. Mairi's voice wonderful to listen too. Not a waste of my time.
