More on Mull (and Ulva)
Since we are enjoying photos of Mull, I thought you might like to see these. They were taken in August 2007 during my first time back on Mull in something like fifteen years.
Two along the Dervaig Road on Mull


Tobermory (it actually takes four or five shots to make the photo sweep of the bay)

Torosay Castle

Dun Ara on Mull, an ancient fortalice of the Mackinnons and others long before them.

Great pictures.I really must get back to Mull one of these days, soon. Sadly the last picture and comments illustrates perfectly why, sometimes,I get a wee tad vague where a certain picture is taken. To be fair, I usually find that visitors from afar are far more likely to be careful of our surroundings that some of the locals, but after years of tidying up other peoples muddles, I really am not so keen on "people" wandering about the place. Sad really.

did you visit Ionna
when you say working were you engaged in some archaeological dig ??
how far from the road are the caveas as im not great at walkin too far
i remeber camping on a golden beach on ionna
i live in england and its been many years since i visited with my parents must take my kids one day
did you see the fossilized trees ?? or many stone circles
