Quite the snow storm today
I thought as we are having quite the snow storm today, that I'd get a photo or two, not ideal kilting weather but the Gordon Highlander helps, at 22oz's not much gets through it.

You know we had a bit of snow yesterday as well... We had 34" in 36 hours. Prior to that we had no snow on the ground. There was a brief moment of sunshine today so here's a snap. Sorry no self portrait, too busy shoveling...

Heh. It's at least 70 here in Texas and I have the windows open and I'm sweating. I hate the heat -- been here all my life and prefer cold weather! I understand why some wouldn't want to be *that* cold or deal with ice or snow, but I definitely would prefer not to have to deal with the heat. I mean, it's December, c'mon silly Texas weather! It can't seem to make up its mind (as usual).
What lovely photos! It reminds me of our surprise (and rare) snow storm last winter I hope we get a bit of snow this winter!
Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Great pics. That much snow would bring civilization to it's knees around here.
Currently, it's 65 degrees here.

McMurdo, I sympathize with you.
Here in Victoria it is intolerable. Victoria is at a standstill. Our one plow hasn't stopped running all day.
I blame it all on you folks from out East that are always coming out here to live. You bring that stuff with you.
The little temp. thingy on my 'puter says -4 degrees C. We have had that white stuff all over our sidewalks and streets for a couple of days now.
How do you expect the flowers to stick their heads up through this stuff?
Winter to a Victorian means having to put socks on with his Birkenstocks. Now we all have touque head.
I had to dig my KiltJohns out of the drawer this morning.
I don't know what I'll do when the cabin fever sets in this afternoon. I can't take it any more.
