Thanks Alan, Beloitpiper & Jack Daw.
It was the perfect evening: lots of square dancing - which I love, I'm up to the C1 level (past Basic, Mainstream, Plus, Advance1&2) - very cerebral at this level.
After the dance, I went to a good friend's xmas party, where they'd been waiting to see my kilt all night long. After a few drinks, I was showing them how the kilt was constructed - LOL, in a very dignified way, of course. Guests were coming up to me introducing themselves and getting a chance to inspect the kilt in a more direct way instead of from side glances from afar. LOL.
My first Christmas kilted -- huge difference from last year.
The reminiscing of that evening still makes me smile
