Any B S G Addicted on the Forum?
I’ve been one since the beginning. Even have introduced the Battlestar Galactica addiction to a few others. Well the final episodes begin soon January 16th on SciFi channel. If there are any of you stateside who have not played with this addiction there is a special show coming on January 11, called The Top Ten Things You Need to Know that will get you up to speed. On the BSG website they have placed an online mini series called The Face of the Enemy.
FRAK, it’s almost over. Thank goodness, I have the DVDs.

Went through the frelling same thing when they pulled Farscape, except they didn't have the DVD's out at the time, also last year of Stargate franchise. Who knows maybe they'll resurrect Babylon 5. Sci-fi rarely goes very long with out a Space Opera of some type. I heard somewhere that they are resurecting the old "Time Tunnel" series from the '60's!

As an avid B 5 fan I hope they don't
The first four seasons were absolutely amazing and I suspect a new series wouldn't have the same epic scope, intimate drama, and sense of wonder.

And thats why we like you Jamie, always a unique look at a well done series. Have no fear, I doubt that Bab-5 will be back any time soon, to recent in peoples memory, now recycles form the 60's thats another story....
Lets see, beyond the Time Tunnel, what other 60's Sci-Fi show could they revive...The Invaders for sure, The Prisoner, and of course the back to the future version of Star-Trek; any others?

I don't have cable. DVD's are the ONLY way I get to watch the show.
I also don't really bother with any other shows.

Although I have Comcast cable, they do not offer the Sci-Fi channel in my area so DVDs are the only way I can watch BSG. I'm not sure if I like the new series better than the original from the seventies or not. However, I do like the new Starbuck character and her no s--t attitude even to her superiors.
A woman who plays poker, drinks, smokes cigars, brawls, and isn't above telling her bosses to p--s off when appropriate sounds like my kind of woman.

I'm addicted, but it's a slow-acting version with me: I've only been watching them when I can get them on DVD through Netflix, so I've only seen through season 3 (NO SPOILERS! youze!).
