    New Years Eve Dance

We had a special celebration at our dance studio for New Years Eve and many of us dressed up, including me.

I am here to testify that one can dance the tango and cha cha in a kilt, even if it is a bit cross-cultural. It is also good that I followed the advise of Scottish dancers and wore something under the kilt. Apparently, when one does the walk around in the cha cha, one can put on a bit of a show.

One of the ladies I danced with did comment that she was jealous because my kilt swirled better than her skirt.

I'm also a bit proud that this was the first time I had tied my own bow tie and I think it turned out pretty good.

Great! Good on you! I've so far shied away from wearing kilts when doing my latin dancing and teaching.

Kilts are definitely comfortable wear for dancing.
