    Got my Isle of Skye from Kathy Lare

    Well, I recieved my first kilt today. It's 16oz Strome in 'Isle of Skye' made by Kathy Lare.

    A beautiful piece of work! The kilt that is...

    Welcome to the club, it does look like you are wearing it a bit low perhaps thats the camera angle but I don't think so.

    I think that's a beautiful tartan--even looks better in person than in photos. But I have to agree with Glen it looks to me as if you are wearing it about two or three inches too low. I think the top of the kilt should be just touching the bottom of your ribcage.

    My brother agreed after taking the pix that it was too low.

    The hose (Lovat Green), belt, and buckle came from Rocky at USA Kilts. (Great guy to deal with).

    The sporran came from the Scottish Tartans Museum. (Another good experience with fast service)
