Update on my step mother

Back on December 10 I posted about my step mother who has cancer, here- http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/c...hlight=miracle

She made good progress over the next month and a half. Unfortunately her conditioned has worsened in the past two weeks. She is now under Hospice care and her condition is at the point where it's hour by hour.

I went through this recently with my mother.
The only advice I can offer is to say a proper goodbye to your mother-in-law while she is still lucid. Let her know that when it's her time to go, she has your blessings to move on the next phase of life. It's a difficult thing to do. I know I've done it. Saying good bye at the end of ones life is as important as how you lived your life. I wish all the best during this time of your life.

Amen to what Funluvnman said. Say what needs to be said while you can. Let the grandkids do the same. Wish my grandfather had allowed us grandkids to do so. (He was a proud man and didn't want us to remember him on his deathbed.)
