-1 kilt look: Ultra casual...
It's Sunday. I'm just hanging out at home, and, as is my wont, I'm wearing a kilt:
The style:
Worn out flannel shirt (navy blue)
Faded black t-shirt (untucked)
Kilt (USAK Douglas modern casual)
Charcoal hose
Nubuck Birkenstocks
Let's see your ultra casual pics.

This one was taken a while ago but here you go
T-Shirt form the Dead Elvis Kilt Society, (I designed the logo, and they sent two shirts up.)
Kilt is a Union Indi Denim (I bought when it was on sale)
Lovat Blue Kilt hose (From WBerin Socks from EBay)
Boots are Caterpillar's I've had for years now.
Belt is one I made myself. (with supplies form Tandy)

Sunday and I am once again cooking some pasta and drinking some Chianti.
I am wearing a North Channel Kilt t-shirt, Black Stewart SWK and leather tool belt I picked up at Lowe’s.

Ah but what did the F.H.C.A.G. do to you after you chased after her with said super soakers?

I didn't know it was casual kilt picture Sunday. I had on my University of Kansas basketball polo, USA Kilts Douglas casual, Stillwater Night Stalker sporran, grey wool work socks and black Nikes.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

I think that GDub was looking at a recent thread that Glen and I did showing how a traditional kilt can be worn from Very Casual to White tie and wanted to get at something perhaps that we had missed.
Looking at the pictures so far (excluding Glen's efforts and mine as we are cheating and wearing modern kilts) I think that GDub and Rogerson are the only ones truly showing "Ultra Casual" with a tartan kilt. I think the key elements are (1) not wearing a sporran, (2) t-shirt, and (3) very casual (or no) footwear.
Cheers

Jaime is correct, kinda sorta. My point was ultra casual at home--chill style. Not out in the world casual. What do you all wear when you're kilted at home when no one else is around, save your partner and/or kids. I wouldn't dress the way I am in the pics if I was going out in public--well, maybe out and back to the corner store.
