Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Pipe and Drum Band
Hello All,
This morning in downtown Campbell, CA they held the annual Easter parade. The Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police pipe and drum band and the San Jose School of Highland Dancing opened and closed the parade. I shot a few pictures and I thought you might enjoy them.
Gotta check the pleats!
Happy Easter!
Matt

Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Two questions, what tartan is that, and does the black stripe on their flashes sybolize anything (thinking fallen comrade)? Looks like a great sunny day for a parade. Nice to see a Celtic shop in the background.

QC,
I met up with one of the ladies in the band at the Los Gatos Trader Joes later that day, it was the first time there were two kilties in the store simulaneously!
It looks like a great performance!
By the by, since you are a local you should try to meet up with the rest of the Nor Cal Rabble!
Cheers

Nice photos Matt. One of the things I miss about the Bay Area is the large Celtic community and the wealth of talent there. Thanks for posting.
