A new jones and maybe bad influence...
I think I need to spend a little less time cruising these boards. I had one kilt for over 5 years (a black Mocker Utilikilt which I still adore, just don't wear a lot), and tossed around the idea of getting one with a tartan. A little over a month ago, I ordered a SWK Standard Mackenzie and love it to death and wear it all the time when not at work. Now, after having my first close call with damaging it, I began thinking I may need another that I can switch between. I was debating between another Standard and an Economy because I wouldn't mind something to just bum around in in the house. After a few talks with my co-workers, we all agreed I need the Black Stewart because it works great as my band kilt (which they lovingly call my 'dude skirt'...jerks). I decided today to get a Standard in Black Stewart. Before I got to ordering, my girlfriend tells me that I need more than a couple kilts if I am going to be wearing them all the time, but she was worried about the price of me getting a lot.
An hour later, I now have a Standard SWK in Black Stewart (which is her family tartan) and an Economy Black Watch on the way, as well as four kilt hangers and some kilt pins.
They probably wont be here until Monday due to the weekend, and that is fine because I have to work all weekend anyway and I think that would make it worse.
Now I just need some new hose and a new hat...
Or I could stop before I get myself into too much trouble.
Bad influence or not, thanks for all the words of encouragement from everyone here. I love all of it.

You have no idea.
I have spent the past week at work, when I should be doing things like making sure the guys under me are actually working and not on the internet, looking at kilts and tartans on the internet.
And, after spending a week in a kilt, when I put my jeans on for work today, it actually felt weird.
I have it very bad indeed.
I guess it's better than hot rods, drugs, and women.

Well...maybe not the women, but most definately drugs. But I think the true test is if you pass your "addiction" on to others as I have my son and some of my co-workers...

With a little diversion, you can help fight that new kilt urges...... Good luck, and remember, here, you are in the company of others who are just like you.... LOL
