Undue Credit
My wife and I attended a concert last night at which Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony was performed. At the end of the concert two ladies of a certain age walked past me and said "So pleased you were properly dressed for the Scottish Symphony!" and "I'm so proud of you for being dressed like that!"
I didn't have the heart to tell them that even if they'd played his Italian Symphony I would still have been kilted. I'll take the credit wherever I can

That may sound bad, but there was a waitress that, um, enjoyed my kilt, in front of my wife no less, her description of her daughter seemed to imply she was a fir bit young, old enough that it would be creepy even if I were single to date the mom. Its hard to describe, really, then again, the way she acted with my wife next to me, I can only think how she would have acted if my wife wasn't with me.
