My newest Kilt, courtesy of Vmac and Captmac!
When I was out in Vancouver for the Portland dance workshop Captmac and Vmac very kindly gifted me one of his old Kilts.
Vmac had made it herself from a beautiful soft and light Pendleton wool in the Pendleton tartan. It was a little big for me but I knew my Mother-in-law could alter it so I was thrilled to be given such a great gift.
Well, my Mother-in-law finally got the time to take it in and I just love it! The wool is so soft and comfortable and it's the perfect weight for sunner here.
Unfortunately (Or fortunately), I lost so much weight since getting measured I'll need her to take it in a bit more!
Here are some pictures of it.
Thanks, you guys, for an incredible gift!

What a great Kilt Arlen... You will do it proud!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

What a lovely kilt and a fine gift! I've looked at Pendleton fabrics, wondered how they would make up. . . now I know!

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
