Where is the women's section?
I am rather surprised that there isn't a women's forum for the ladies who are interested in traditional Scottish dress. Are there so few?
There doesn't even seem to be any other forum on the Net for traditional women's clothing, accessories, or discussions.
There are women in/from Scotland, aren't there?

What, you mean that one "Lasses Wear Thread" isn't enough?
You should make your suggestion in the suggestions forum.
Meanwhile, be sure to join The Ladies of XMARKS social group.
Regards,
Rex.

And while you're at it, maybe you could also suggest they could recruit a moderatress.

Gee, I didn't even know there were "groups"!
I don't think any woman in her right mind wants to try to ride herd on this group!

Rex,
Actually we did approach one exceptional Lady on the forum to be a member of the Mod Squad so we did come close to having a moderatress.
However here being female wasn't any sort of a consideration for asking her.
She was the best qualified person for the job
Cheers

Maybe it has something to do with X Marks the Scot's being a forum for discussing wearing kilts, and the fact that the kilt is a man's garment.

gilmore has a very good point there
We do as mentioned above have a "Ladies of XMTS" social group and we certainly allow discussions of traditional ladies highland attire (we even have a specific forum for Traditional highland Dress
As much as I personally appreciate and enjoy the contributions of our Lady members here on XMTS I don't really see that a specific woman's clothing forum is really what we are about here.
Cheers
