ForresterModern, my handle and avatar, 9yd custom in 13 oz Strathmore fabric, sewn by JHiggins 18 months ago and first worn 2-19-08 to the Phoenix Highland Games. Picture in my album with me in the red shirt was taken that afternoon. Hooked ever since. Other pics in the album of it are me with a buddy in our dress outfits, and me in my grey tweed Argyll. It is an unusual tartan sett, pretty in its own way.

Hunting Robertson 5 yd 16 oz from Locharron.
I haven't worn it in a few years because the hips are the wrong size. I've been meaning to take it apart (completely) and remake it as a 4 yd box pleat.

My first was my Black Watch miniature sett PV great kilt that I cut down and tailored into a semi-trad. I think I did a decent job, and still wear the kilt!

    No photo? It didn't happen

My first was a MacRae weathered hunting.

SWK heavy weight, black shadow tartan. I still have it but wish I wore it more often.

My first kilt was a gift from my dad, it was his first kilt too

Yes I know I'm wearing white hose too, I was young and needed guidance. It seems so long ago, those hose have been buried at the bottom of my hose drawer for quite some.

My first kilt... My first on was a Black Watch from my dad. I have no pictures in digital format. Maybe one day I will... My first that I chose and bought for myself was a black Amerikilt. I bought it to get married in. I'm wearing it right now as a matter of fact.
