Glasgowlands Scottish Festival

This weekend july 18 in Look Park Northampton Mass will be the Glasgowlands Highland Festival. A nice fest and this year for all the Pipe Band Junkies it will have TWO GRADE ONE bands competing. Oran Mor and the City Of Washington. Can't wait to hear these guys.

Glasgow Lands was great. There were a lot of great bands and the opening ceremonies had all of them marching on a great field that we could be right up on.

We watched a lot of the band competitions. Some were outstanding; all were great.

Alas, I had to run; leave early - the President of Rotary International, John Kenny, was across the state nearer Boston. He is a fine man; a judge from Grangemouth which sits between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Quite a day from one end to the other!
