well for a quick search, it says the Mill has been closed down, so claiming its one of Scotlands formost mills.. might be stretching it...
mind you, even though your seller is at a 100% feedback.. he has only sold 30 items..
its an 11 oz wool... might be too light for a kilt..but if you are looking for tartan material for other items...it will be good...

I have bought from this vendor before. Had a small problem as I e-mailed to make sure it had a kilting selvage and he replied 'yes'. When the material arrived it had a raw selvage. We negotiated an equitable settlement so I was happy in the end.
I think others here have bought form him also.

11oz is very light weight for a kilt, however.

thanks for that advice folks i guess the material would be best used for waistcoats rather than a kilt perhaps,
I'm just wondering if any of my three brothers and father would actually wear a tartan waistcoat now and then though and also whether they`d want a custom fitted one hmmm decisions decisions now
thanks again i knew i could get a fair opinion from this site cheers
