It is an upholstery fabric I found at a local Walmart.

I thought it would make a cool looking kilt, so, there it is.

... Good eye! I have to agree with you... What's the fibre break-down?

I really don't know.

It is Walmart stuff, they tend not to have info on their bolts.
I have washed it and it was pretty much wrinkle free.
I am guessing mostly poly or some other synthetic.

It actually has a decent feel on the skin.
I was afraid it would be scratchy or feel funny, but it hangs nice, is a decent weight, yet isn't so stiff it doesn't move.
You can sort of see in a couple of the pictures the wind was blowing and it made it move really nicely, without threatening to blow upward to much.

Herringbone pattern, is all I can tell you.
