    Albannach Tartan USAK

Does anyone own an Albannach tartan kilt from USAK? I totally dig it and might have to get one one of these years but I'd like to see it in kilt form first.

I received my semi-traditional last week. I'll have to post pictures. Thank god I had it for a piping gig at a birthday party on Sat. I was perspiring profusely as it was, with one of my wool kilts, I might have passed out....

I don't own one, but it looks like a very nice tartan.

The link provided is for the wool version. Note at the end of that thread that the wool version is no longer available. I don't know if it's just the picture, but my semi-trad seems darker...

Here's a nifty picture of me in that kilt right after I had to shovel snow. As pointed out, it's the wool variety. I don't know what the semitrad PV version looks like. I haven't gotten one yet. Also, sorry about the direct link to the photo- I can't get the picture to post for some reason.

***Ok- PhotoBucket is being stupid...*** So never mind... I'll repost it when I get home. Or maybe I'll get a whole new picture taked! That one kinda sucked anyway- the glare from the snow was bad.

It looks even better in person, man! I have gotten more compliments on that kilt than any other. The colors are just beautiful! They're weathered, but still very... not exactly bright, but colorful. It's very similar to the Isle of Skye tartan.
