Things I can't wait to do whilst kilted.
The 'Your Favorite Kilted Memory' thread got me to thinking beyond it -- cause I'm that type o' person. Basically, I got to thinking about things I can't wait to do whilst kilted.
1) Order kilt number 2
2) Run away from home for the weekend to southern Ontario (our home away from home) with my wife and be kilted all weekend.
3) Tour Orkney whilst kilted, including a kilted hike on Hoy out to see the Old Man (of Hoy).
4) Go to the Knights of Columbus Christmas party in my kilt -- actually that will be in the yet to be ordered kilt #2 - see item one above.
That's all I can think of for now. How about everyone else?
Tony

Lots of ideas in the pipeline for the future, I hope and pray the best in life has yet to come and that I will be blessed with the continued good health to enjoy.

As I await kilt#1 (& 2 & 3) I can think of nothing that I don't want to do while kilted, other than perhaps swimming, bathing, and a few messier activities...

Attend my first clan gathering in Scotland (Hunterston Castle), visit the Isle of Arran, and the Edinburgh Military Tatoo. All kilted of course.

I would like to visit Ferniehurst Castle and attend the Edinburg Tattoo, kilted of course.
If my eldest daughter asked me to, I would give her away while kilted.

Wear one of my Rose tartan kilts at Kilravock castle, the seat of clan Rose. It's a B&B now and I'm determined to visit it someday.

Along those lines, yes, it'd be fun to be part of the tartan army ;)

I have actually thought about this... for sometime now... I would love to travel the world, visiting XMarkers, while kilted, and experience the things I have seen them post... The kilted hiking, museum tours, the musical exchanges, the meetups... Everything... North to south, east to west.... It would be so great... Fish with Jock, tour with Alex, tour with Derek, enjoy a night of music with Robert, Kilt Night with Oddern, see Chile with Terialka, visit NZ with KiltedKiwi, visit Australia... With thaThing... and so on.. That would be a trip of a lifetime.
