    Holiday in Scotland

My wife and I and another couple had a wonderful time at our recent trip to Scotland. One thing that really made an impression upon us was the warmth and hospitality (wherever we traveled) of the Scottish people. Here are some photos of the journey.

St. Mungo's, Glasgow (that Glaswegian accent was a bit tough to get all at once for my American ears, but I'd say I got 90% of it right on the first go round (not too bad).

    Some lovely Heather

Our hotel in Inverness put on a wee presentation of Scottish culture.
Here I am with our piper for the evening

His kilt was pre 1914. A Gordon tartan

    Some bonnie lasses...
A Highland Fling, not to be confused with....

Came across this inviting Barber Shop in Pitlochry

Here's a kilt pin I purchased. The "stone" is actually colored and polish Heather wood!
