A Farewell to the Saltire and hello to Forester Modern
Tonight was another SOKS kilt night in downtown Toronto, it was our pleasure to host Forrester Modern and his family. We also had the Saltire in attendance, for one last time, she will be shipping off for parts unknown in the morning. On top of all that we had a toast to our departed member Craig(Retro Red)Saylors, he is missed, even by those of us who never had the good fortune to meet him. It was a good night with good friends, new friends, and departed friends. As we were out front of the pub another kilted gent walked past and we exchanged pleasantries, after that walking back to the car I bumped into a gent from Edinburgh, his wife from Paisley and friend from Glasgow. He said the following to his wife:
"See I told you I should wear my kilt tonight"
Then to me
"I was going to wear my kilt tonight"
I told him that's why I wear mine everyday, just in case I bump into someone. Here are the photos.

It was a very good time thanks to all making it possible. A special thank you to Carol and Jeff and Carter for the Dutch Treats, they will be consumed in good order.

Based upon your headline, Glen, I thought the Saltire was going to retire from its many travels. Had me worried for a moment. After reading your post, I'm happy to hear the airship is back on the road again!
