    An outfit check

Tommorow night my work are having a BBQ/ night out which will include a trip to one or several drinking establishments and i am trying to plan an outfit.

Im still deciding between my Cooper or Black Stewart kilts and either a black, white or red shirt(see below) or black polo shirt with my semi formal sporran either green or black hose with black flashes and either shoes or high boots(no flashes with boots).

Most other people i think will be wearing shirts and jeans/trousers or possibaly tshirts and jeans.

I quite like this look but as i have no taste or so im told ill bow to your advice.

Ill put more pics up tommorow when i get home to take them
    Thanks in advance Jordan

P.S Ignore the fact that i only have on one Hose as i just threw it on before for the pic which has been sitting on my comp for about 2 months

It looks good Jordan. One thing I would recommend though is red flashes!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Looks good, I like hose with flashes. I would loose a few links of chain on your sporran holder- it looks low to me.

Well, I will start. To my eyes the red shirt look off of the rest of the ensemble. I just can't place a finger on why.

As far as the hose, you never know, you might start a fashion trend! It seems to me that there was this singer once who only wore 1 glove.... can you dance?

Jordan, I like the outfit you have on, and I agree with the advice given so far. Go for it, and have fun!

I like what you have there, but would suggest you loose the black flashes, if you've got red flashes those would be a good option, if not then I'd say don't wear flashes at all. I agree with you on the sporran chains, I'd rather wear a sporran strap.

The red shirt goes well with the red stripe in the kilt. I agree with the red flashes, but make sure you get a dark red to go with the shirt. Bright red might be a bit too much.

Seeing as you said you were stuck with black flashes I would change the Shirt as well, go with black to be edgy or white to be dressy. If you stick with the red shirt ditch the flashes and wear the boots. Whatever you choose I'm sure it will be fine.

Remember its what feels right that means the most not what us lot recommend.
