Hi!
Hiya!
Excellent forum you have here. It had never occured to me that there would be a forum for kilted chaps! I've spent most of this evening reading some brilliant threads.
My names is Miles I'm Welsh and currently based in the UK. I have worn kilts for about five years. I have just two; a generic green 'Irish' kilt and my favourite, a Black Watch kilt. I used to have a third, a Stewart kilt, but it was 'borrowed' and never returned.
I don't own any sporrans and personally don't like them. I use an original German WWII breadbag, which I wear on my right hip. I'll dig out some photos and post them.
I currently have a third kilt on order with Kilt This! A heavy cotton khaki-coloured casual hiking kilt, complete with cargo pockets. It should be delivered around Christmas and I can't wait!
Oh, in case you're wondering about my user-name, it's my old nickname from when I was in the army, and is a corruption of stiletto blade rebel. How I acquired the nickname is an interesting story which I'm sure I'll tell in the fullness of time!
Kind regards,
Miles.
