Trick or treating with the grandkids at the mall
I went with my daugther, son-in-law and 2 of my grandchildren to the mall for trick or treating yesterday. The stores have candy for the children and it is much safer than litlle ones walking around from house to house in the dark. I was kilted as usual, in this case my Irish saffron and a dark green cable knit sweater. Great fun, but the high point for me was a lady who had just handed the kids their treats turned to me and said: "Great costume... no of course you wear it much too well. The kilt is your usual attire, not a costume, isn't it?" I must be doing it right!

I got that same compliment! I just didn't think to post about it... I also "Duuuuude!! That kilt is sick! It looks so real!" To which I replied "There's a good reason it looks real!"
