Ummm...there is a joke in here somewhere.
I'm on the floor laughing so hard. I'm trying to think of a clever title to this thread, but the video just says it all. This is may have been posted already, so forgive me if it has. Just.....welll.....just click the link. Key phrase to remember "It just can't get any worse".

Too funny!
Well, now we know that somebody actually plays those redwood Pakistani pipes you see on eBay. And how cool is that no need to tune your drones thing? All of the drone sections are completely cranked down all the way on the tuning slides on every set of pipes. Bet that sounds great! SFU, lookout!

Dang, I stumbled onto this the other day, and couldn't take much. I like the choice of music.

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the tartan cowboy hats some of the guys were wearing towards the end....

Little kids with swords; policemen with their hands in their pockets; massed tambourine bands; everybody taking it so seriously; no pipe or drum music; over dubbed with Carmina Burana,
What isn't to like?

Well, the first bit of music is the first movement of Carmina Burana (semper crescis aut decrescis...), with interesting rhythmic distortions. The original triple rhythm is superimposed on that duple backbeat rhythm with an occasional extra beat. Hmmm the extra beat is llike bluegrass or some Celtic music styles, isn't it? Or hip-hop, I suppose.
But then it alternates with another bit which I don't recognize. Anyone have an ID?? I'd like to meet the maniac who arranged it.
One thing about the Pakistani pipe bands, is you have to give points for style!

Just poke around YouTube, there's plenty of it there.

You use the word 'style' pretty loosely there...
