USA Army kilt and Hacking Jacket that Chattan Cat had modified.

    Good Day All,

I woke up in time for church today, unlike last Sunday when I was exhausted from the previous week. I decided to wear my USA Army kilt and Hacking Jacket that Chattan Cat had modified for me.

You will notice that the jacket has additional pockets, all of which are functional and deep enough to use as hand warmers. I acquired this on E-Bay and was not able to wear it until the modifications were finished and the weather cooled down, because the coat is thick, warm and heavy.

    Enjoying a good stout.

The buttons were my idea to make it even more unusual than your typical kilt jacket and these buttons go well with my Masonic sporran and ring I occasionally wear.

The piper is John Taylor and he is a member of the Salina Shiner Pipes & Drum corps.

This is taken in their room at the Salina Masonic Temple.

The jacket looks great. It goes well with the USA Army kilt. The buttons were a good choice as well. IMHO.

Chris, what is the tartan of the band kilts? That's very attractive; and you don't look too bad, yourself!

Very, very sharp outfit! I like how you've matched yellow flashes to the stripe. To my taste, though, the sporran is just too plain.
