Dumfries, St Andrew's Eve and Chilli Pipers too...
Had the good fortune to be able to get up to Dumfries this weekend to participate in the climax of the Homecoming Scotland 2009 Finale event.
We met up with Robertson and Emma (Pour1Malt) Laird and lady of Ferintosh, Alex (cessna152towser) from Hawick and Paul and Laura from Glasgow (Paul.)
There were several things set up over the whole weekend including the Guinness book of records attempt at the worlds biggest scottish reel with over 700 people dancing. An open air performance by the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and the switch on of the Dumfries Christmas lights.
Here's some pictures of the day.

Emma, Robertson, Me and my daughter, My Son Tom. You'll note the new Randonnée Bretonne (Brittany Walking Tartan) makes a public appearance.

My daughter and I again... just cause she's so gorgeous.

The world record Reel.

We had to go to the pub for a warm... it was freezing. Paul and I.

Robertson and me.

The Pipers on the big screen.

Just before we all dispersed. Alex, Robertson, Paul, Me (and my little girl) and Tom.
It was a great day out and you should have been there.
EDIT: Kilted chums. Please post your own pickies here

Looks like the four of you (along with several thousand others) had a great time.

Great pics John. Once again I'll say - you have THE cuttest daughter!
It was great to meet you and the other Xmarkers and thanks again for joining us... and the pint!
P.S. your new kilt looks great!
