Palm Springs/Palm Desert Kilt Night
Saturday Night at the Tilted Kilt
We met the third Sat. of Nov. at the Tilted Kilt in Palm Desert, just 5 of us. Carl and Judy from the Scottish Society of the Desert showed up, Carl was wearing the Hawaiian tartan.
The Tilted Kilt is louder every time we meet there, it's a sports bar after all. We talked about this and it could be a reason that attendance has fallen these last several months. We voted unanimously to try another location next month, Dec 19. It was decided to meet at 5pm at:
Lord Fletcher's Inn,
70-385 Highway 111, at Country Club Drive.,
Rancho Mirage, California 92270 (760) 328-1161
There are a number of other places in Palm Springs we can try till we find a home for the Kilt Night.
Our regular kilt night is the 3td Saturday of the month.
See you there,
Bruce

Tilted Kilt
If you have yet to find a place for your gatherings, I would suggest you give the Tilted Kilt in Palm Desert another try. It does get loud on a Saturday but just ask to speak to the G.M. and he may be able to reserve you a location for those nights you need. There is a meeting space to the rear that was designed for just this reason and it should meet your needs.
The General Manager at this Tilted Kilt is Walter Perkins. The restaurant number is 760-776-5554
Thanks,
